Booking

The suites at Butt Lodge will be available for a minimum of 2 nights stay.
Full payment should be made for all reservations 6 weeks in advance or at the time of booking whichever is sooner.

Cancellation
Guests can cancel free of charge up until 7 days before arrival date.

Guests will be charged the total cost of their reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. This includes stays of multiple nights where one or more of those nights is cancelled within the 7 day period. We always recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of cancellations caused by disruptions to the ferry services.
If we manage to re-sell the room for the cancelled reservation we will refund the amount we can re-coup.

Children
Well behaved children are welcome in the Newton Suite only,  a small surcharge will be payable per child.  This suite provides a bed settee (see pics). Parents are responsible for the safety and supervision of any children staying at, or visiting, the property at all times. Children under the age of 16 must not be left unsupervised in the property.  The Castle Suite is not suitable for children due to the spiral staircase.

Pets
The suites in Butt Lodge are pet free.

Indemnity
As far as the law allows, the owners take no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or illness to guests. In submitting your booking you agree to indemnify the owners against loss, damage or injury sustained to the property or persons from any deliberate or negligent act or omission by the guest (or any member of their party). The owners cannot accept responsibility for any personal property belonging to the guest. All vehicles and property are left at guests own risk.

Complaints
We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If, however, you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay, you must inform the owners immediately so that they have the chance to rectify the problem. Under no circumstances will any refunds be considered if the owner has not been given the opportunity to rectify the problem during the period of booking.
