As a small island, it’s easy to get around on Arran. It is relatively inexpensive to bring the car.
If you are relying on public transport, regular buses operate to fit in with the ferry times.
There are three main bus routes covering North Arran, South Arran and the String.

Taxis are available, although can be expensive.
