Butt Lodge Booking Terms & Conditions

Cancellation
Guests can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. Guests will be charged the total cost of their reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. This includes stays of multiple nights where one or more of those nights is cancelled within the 7 day period. We always recommend taking out travel insurance to cover the cost of cancellations caused by disruptions to the ferry services. No pre-payment is required.

Children
Children are very welcome at Butt Lodge. Parents are responsible for the safety and supervision of any children staying at, or visiting, the property at all times. Children under the age of 14 must not be left unsupervised in the property.

Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Butt Lodge, with a maximum of two per room. We ask that you do not leave pets unattended in guest rooms or public areas at any time. Not all of our guests appreciate our four-legged friends, so please keep dogs off the furniture and out of the dining room. The most suitable rooms for those travelling with dogs are Room 3: Scott, Room 5: Newton, and Room 6: Castle, as these offer the greatest amount of floor space for your comfort and theirs.

Indemnity
As far as the law allows, the owners take no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or illness to guests. In submitting your booking you agree to indemnify the owners against loss, damage or injury sustained to the property or persons from any deliberate or negligent act or omission by the guest (or any member of their party). The owners cannot accept responsibility for any personal property belonging to the guest. All vehicles and property are left at guests own risk.

Complaints
We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If, however, you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay, you must inform the owners immediately so that they have the chance to rectify the problem. Under no circumstances will any refunds be considered if the owner has not been given the opportunity to rectify the problem during the period of booking.
